What is Thepla?

Thepla is a soft, spiced flatbread made from whole-wheat flour, fenugreek leaves (methi) and everyday spices, cooked on a tawa with a little oil. Because it keeps well without refrigeration, it's the classic food Gujarati families pack for long trips, pilgrimages and picnics.
